PHOTO GALLERYHUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville fell in the two-game exhibition series finale to the U.S. Under-18 National Team on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 4-2 at the Von Braun Center.

The Chargers jumped out to a 1-0 advantage as
Brandon Carlson pushed across a goal through a scrum at 8:15 of the first period thanks to assists by
Alex Carpenter and
Frank Misuraca.

The 1-0 UAH lead held going into intermission, but the U-18s bounced back to tie it at the 4:12 mark of the second period on a goal by Colin White.

UAH fought back to regain a one-goal advantage as
Matt Salhany and
Brennan Saulnier setup
Alex Carpenter for first goal of the game and second point in the contest.

USA's Jack Roslovic equalized the game at 2-2 at 10:37 in the second period, before Jeremy Bracco sent in the game-winner at 19:34 of the third and an empty-netter 17 seconds later to bring the game to its final score of 4-2.

Sophomore
Matt Larose spent the duration of the game between the pipes for UAH, posting 39 total saves in the loss. Larose was tagged for three goals, depsite stopping 12 or more shots in each period.

The Chargers managed 13 shots on goal on Sunday afternoon led by
Jack Prince, Carpenter and Salhany who registered two apiece. Junior
Anderson White had a team-high four blocks, followed by
Cody Champagne and
Brent Fletcher who got in front of three shots each.

UAH will head on the road for the following two series beginning with Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan this Friday and Saturday with 6:07 p.m. CST puck drops.
