LOOKING BACK: In 2014, the Chargers went 16-13 overall and 10-10 within the Gulf South Conference in the second season under head coach Keith Giboney. The Blue & White reached the GSC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season in 2014 and ended the year with a loss to Valdosta State in the quarterfinals.

KEY RETURNERS: Second Team All-GSC honoree Anna Claire Johnson headlines the returnees for this season, after leading the squad with 288 kills in 2014. UAH will also be counting on the production of key seniors Olivia Bauman (271 kills, .192 hitting percentage), Haley Snyder (204 kills, .271 hitting percentage) and Kennedie Lariscy (382 digs).

PRESEASON POLL: UAH was predicted to finish sixth in the upcoming season as voted on the GSC's head coaches. For the fifth consecutive season, West Florida (78) was selected to win the league, followed by Valdosta State (67) in second and North Alabama (65) in third. Shorter (59) and Christian Brothers (49) precede the Chargers in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

NEW FACES: Freshmen Haley Hop and Anna LeDuc were honored as top newcomers to the GSC from the Chargers. Hop joins the Chargers from nearby Bob Jones High School, while LeDuc is a Bentonville, Arkansas, native. The UAH incoming class also features Holly Posey (Addison, Ala.) and Lorah Yonce (Nashville, Tenn.).

MATCHUP HISTORIES: The Chargers own all-time winning records against all programs visiting for the Hilton Garden Inn South UAH Classic, except William Jewell as the programs will matchup for the first time during the event. UAH has tallied all-time winning records versus Ouachita Baptist (5-4), Southern Arkansas (11-1), Stillman (1-0), and Trevecca Nazarene (12-2).

LOOKING AHEAD: Following the UAH Classic, the Chargers will head to Florence, South Carolina to compete in the Francis Marion Tournament from Sept. 11-12 against North Greenville, FMU, Mount Olive and Georgia College.
