BIG RAPIDS, Mich. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville opened up the 2016-17 campaign with a 2-1 win over No. 20 Ferris State on Saturday afternoon in the opener of a two-game, WCHA series. UAH improves to 1-0-0, (1-0-0 WCHA), while FSU slides to 0-1-0 (0-1-0 WCHA).

Hans Gorowsky provided the game-winning tally at 9:19 of the second, his third career marker. Fellow sophomore
