MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team dropped its Mariucci Classic finale by a final score of 3-2 in overtime to Mercyhurst on Saturday afternoon at Mariucci Arena. UAH slips to 7-13-2, while MU improves to 8-10-1.

- After a 2-2 tie remained after 60 minutes of play on Saturday afternoon, Mercyhurst pushed ahead for the 3-2 victory in the overtime period with a goal by Matthew Whittaker at the 2:14 mark.

- UAH jumped ahead early into the first period of play on a goal by
Matt Salhany at 4:26 of the frame, thanks to assists by
Hans Gorowsky and
Madison Dunn on the score.
