HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team – playing with several regular starters out of the game – battled toe-to-toe with No. 14 West Alabama before a late goal lifted the visiting Tigers to a 1-0 victory at Charger Park. UAH slips to 8-6-2 (7-2-2 Gulf South Conference), while UWA improves to 14-2-0 (10-1-0 GSC).
Turning Point
-West Alabama broke the scoreless tie in the 88th minute when Ali Brador collected a rebound and fired it off the crossbar where it fell just inside the line for the game-winning tally.
Inside the Box Score
-The visitors may have built up a wide 11-2 advantage in shots that were on target, but shot attempts were much closer at 18-12 in favor of UWA.
-The Tigers also established a 10-6 edge in corners on the evening.

Myles Fullen was terrific on the night, registering 10 saves.

-The 10 saves mark a new career-best for Fullen, surpassing his previous high of eight which he registered on Sept. 8 of last season against Montevallo.
-With the upcoming GSC tournament in mind, Wright played for just 15 minutes before being lifted from the game, while leading scorer
Corentin Diverres saw no action in the contest.

-The Chargers will now be off until next Friday thanks to their second-place regular season finish, and the team will await the winner of third-seeded Mississippi College and the No. 6 seed team. That semifinal contest is slated for noon on Nov. 3 at the Emory Folmar YMCA complex in Montgomery, Alabama.
