HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team was victorious by a final score of 21-11 on Wednesday night at Charger Park over visiting Gulf South Conference foe Montevallo. UAH improves to 4-0 (3-0 GSC), while UM slips to 2-3 (0-3 GSC).

- In her strongest performance of her freshman campaign,
Jenna Carr paced the Chargers offense with an electrifying eight-goal performance as UAH won its fourth straight game to start the 2017 campaign.

- The Chargers dominated play in the opening 30 minutes on Wednesday, outscoring the Falcons 15-6 in the first half.
- During the first half of play, UAH put together three rallies of three goals or more to own the 15-6 lead heading into the break.
- UAH opened the second half with five straight goals to push the lead to 20-6, which was slimmed to 20-11 on five straight goals by Montevallo.
