WEEK AHEAD: The Chargers have a total of four matches on deck this week beginning Friday at the Arkansas Tech Tournament with matchups against Central Missouri and Ouachita Baptist followed by contests on Saturday against Arkansas Tech and Washburn.Â

DOMINANT WEEKEND: UAH notched victories over Southern Wesleyan, Clark Atlanta, Texas A&M International and Emmanuel this past weekend, dropping just one set in the Emmanuel College Tournament. During the weekend, the Chargers boasted seven attackers with a .280 hitting percentage or higher and three of those players notched 20 kills or more.

SOPHOMORE STANDOUTS: The Chargers benefited from strong performances by sophomores by
Jordan Grammer and
Caroline Sanford, as the duo combined for 46 kills and both had hitting percentages of .280 or higher in four matches this weekend. On the season, Sanford rates second in the conference with an average of 1.17 blocks per set after additionally posting eight total blocks.

ON THE ATTACK: UAH enters the weekend leading the Gulf South Conference with a .239 hitting percentage in 2017, as the squad has posted team swing rates of .280 or higher in three matches. The Chargers attackers are paced by
Abby Brooks' .362 hitting percentage, while five other regular attackers own swing rates above .250.

STREAKING: The Chargers open the weekend with a six-game win streak dating back to a pair of wins over Tuskegee and Trevecca Nazarene on Sept. 2. During the six-game stretch, UAH has a total of eight players with 20 digs or more while limiting opponents to a .047 hitting percentage.
