Turning Point
- After both teams were knotted at 1-1 through the second period, an early tally in the first minute of the first period by Lukas Craggs proved to be the difference-maker for the Falcons as BGSU went on to win the contest 2-1.

- The game knotted up at the 13:40 mark when Bowling Green errantly sent a puck into its own net on a delayed penalty with an empty goal. Jack Jeffers was credited with the tally on the play.
- After a full scoreless second, Bowling green pulled ahead 48 seconds into the third period on Craggs' marker which brought the game to its 2-1 final.
