HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 26-7 win over visiting Lee in the home opener for the 2018 season at Charger Park on Wednesday afternoon. UAH improves to 2-1 (1-1 GSC), while LU slides to 2-1 (0-1 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers 15-goal first half – highlighted by a string of seven unanswered goals – elevated UAH to a 15-3 advantage at the half on the way to the 26-7 win over the Flames.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Senior Alanna Carvalho paced the Chargers offense with six points on six goals, while also contributing one ground ball and ranking second on the roster with five draw controls.
- Following Carvalho offensively were four players with four points each, including Shannon Kruse (4g-0a), Abbey O'Brien (2g-2a), Karissa Glover (4g-0a) and Nicole Federovitch (3g-1a).
