UAH Downs Mars Hill 25-5 on Friday Evening at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 25-5 win over visiting Mars Hill in a nonconference matchup at Charger Park on Friday evening. UAH rises to 6-1, while MHU dips to 1-3.

- UAH opened the contest on a 7-0 run to help the squad to an early lead as the Chargers would not look back in the 25-5 victory.

- Junior Nicole Federovitch had a dominant overall performance in the victory, as she posted a team-high nine points, eight goals, five ground balls and four caused turnovers while also adding an assist.
- Federovitch was followed on offense by a pair of five-point scorers, with Abbey O'Brien scoring five goals and Alanna Carvalho registering four goals and one assist.
- Three Chargers had three points in the contest, including Ava Boethig (1g-2a), Sophia Fiorino (3g-0a) and Megan Hartnett (2g-1a).
