CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team returned to Gulf South Conference play with a 20-12 victory at Lee on Wednesday afternoon. UAH improves to 10-3 (4-1 GSC), while LU dips to 8-8 (2-5 GSC).

Turning Point
- After outscoring Lee 10-5 in the first half, UAH built on its lead by a strong opening to the second half in which UAH registered four goals in the first six minutes to push the lead to 14-5 on the way to the GSC victory.

Nicole Federovitch had a spectacular performance with a game-high 10 points on four goals and a team-best six assists, while also ranking second on the roster with five ground balls.

- Lee took the early advantage with goals at 29:01 and 23:52, before UAH took a 3-2 lead on goals by O'Brien at 23:11 and Carvalho at 18:54 and 17:12.
- Both sides scored three goals each to keep it a one-goal advantage for UAH, but the Chargers gained some distance at the half with a 10-5 lead by closing out the frame on a 4-0 run.
- The Chargers continued to build on their momentum in the second half with four early goals to lead 14-5, with Carvalho and O'Brien potting two markers apiece in the initial six minutes.
