UAH Edged in Series Finale at Ferris State

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team fell to Ferris State on Saturday night by a score of 3-1 at Ewigleben Arena in the final game of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association series. UAH dips to 1-14-3 (1-10-3 WCHA), while FSU improve to 6-9-2 (4-6-2 WCHA).
 
Turning Point
- Ferris State's key goal came at 4:06 of the third period off the stick of Marshall Moise as he gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 edge on the way to the 3-1 win over the Chargers on Saturday.
 
Scoring Breakdown
- Ferris State went on the board first late in the opening period with a power-play tally by Zach Yoder at the 17:56 mark.
-  The Bulldogs added to their lead with Moise's tally at 4:06 of the third period.
- UAH cut the deficit to 2-1 at 10:06 of the third period as Tanner Hickey notched a goal with a slap shot from the blue line, thanks to assists by Dayne Finnson and Liam Izyk.
