HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team put up a strong effort against Division I member Florida A&M on Sunday, falling by the slimmest of margins at 4-3 at the Athletic Club Alabama. The Chargers slip to 1-2 on the season, but those two losses have both come against Division I opponents.

-Each of Mehlich, Kirchtag, and Polakovic won their singles matches against both Martin Methodist and Florida A&M this weekend.
-The victory in doubles is the first of Kirchtag's collegiate career as the duo of her and Mehlich bounced back from a setback on Saturday against MMC to win on Sunday in their second match together.
