UAH Returns to GSC Play with 12-5 Win at Montevallo

MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team jumped back into Gulf South Conference play with a 12-5 victory at Montevallo on Wednesday evening. UAH improves to 4-0 (2-0 GSC), while UM dips to 3-1 (0-1 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- UAH opened up the contest on a 5-0 run over the first seven minutes to lead Montevallo as the squad would not relinquish the advantage for the remainder of the contest for a 12-5 victory.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Freshman Katie Gerber dominated in the victory with a team-high four points on three goals and one assist to go along with a roster-high eight ground ball and four draw controls.
- Nicole Federovitch rated second on the roster with three goals for three points in the contest.
- Megan Hartnett (1g-1a) and Sophia Fiorino (2g-0a) also had multi-point performances.
- Seven different players scored for the Chargers on Wednesday.
- Kinta Schott and Natalie Pachinger tied for second on the squad with three draw controls.
