Chargers Fall at Tampa to Open Road Swing

TAMPA, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team fell for the first time in the 2019 campaign with a 15-5 loss at Tampa on Saturdayto open a six-game road swing. UAH dips to 8-1, while UT improves to 6-2.
 
Turning Point
- After UAH tied the contest at 2-2 with 10:17 remaining in the first half, Tampa went on a 6-1 run to close out the opening frame on the way to the 15-5 win on Saturday.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Sophia Fiorino scored a team-high two goals in the contest while grabbing one ground ball.
- Both Megan Hartnett and Katie Gerber had two points in the contest with one goal and one assist apiece.
- Natalie Pachinger also scored a goal for the Chargers in addition to totaling a team-high three caused turnovers and rating tied for second on the roster with three ground balls.
- Leslie Allen Brown fell to 8-1 on the season in goal, after totaling 11 saves in the loss. Brown additionally ranked second on the squad with three ground balls.

- UAH scored the first goal of the second half by Hartnett at 25:56, but UT responded by outscoring the Chargers 7-1 to finish off the 15-5 victory.
