UAH's 2018-19 Season Closes with Game Two Loss at No. 4 Minnesota State

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team's 2018-19 season came to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 loss to No. 4 Minnesota State in the quarterfinal round of the 2019 Western Collegiate Hockey Association Postseason Tournament at the Verizon Center. UAH caps the season at 8-28-2, while MSU improves to 29-7-2 and advances to the semifinals next weekend.
 
Turning Point
- Minnesota State scored the first four goals of the game between the first and second period as the Mavericks won the series in two games with a 4-1 final score on Saturday afternoon.

- The Mavericks were on the board early at 1:44 of the first as Reggie Lutz supplied with power-play goal, and MSU went on to take a 2-0 lead into intermission on a tally by Parker Tuomie at 8:57.
