UAH Cruises to 19-8 Win over Lee at Charger Park

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 19-8 Gulf South Conference victory over Lee on Saturday afternoon at Charger Park. UAH improves to 12-3 (5-1 GSC), while LU dips to 4-10 (1-5 GSC).
 
Turning Point
- The Chargers dominated the first half by outscoring the Flames 12-2 in the opening 30 minutes on the way to the 19-8 victory to open the homestand.
 
Inside the Box Score
- Nicole Federovitch led the offense overall with seven points on five goals and two assists in addition to adding three ground balls.
- Sophia Fiorino had a team-high six goals scored.
- Megan Hartnett (1g-2a) and Savanna Robbins (2g-1a) each had three points in the win.
- Anna Grace Shepherd tied with Federovitch and Hartnett for the team lead with two assists on the day.
