UAH Closes Regular Season with 21-3 Win over Shorter on Senior Day

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 21-3 victory over Shorter on Saturday afternoon at Charger Park on Senior Day to wrap up the 2019 regular season. UAH improves to 14-3 (7-1 GSC), while SU dips to 5-10 (2-6 GSC).

- UAH dominated the first half with a 12-2 lead through 30 minutes on the way to the 21-3 victory over the Hawks at Charger Park on Saturday.

- The Chargers offense was paced by Nicole Federovitch with a team-high eight points on five goals and three assists while also adding three ground balls and one caused turnover.
- Sophia Fiorino finished second on the roster with four goals, followed by Megan Hartnett with three tallies on the day.
