YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team won the 2019 Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Championships on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 15-11 over No. 1 seed Young Harris to capture's the program's first-ever conference championship. UAH improves to 16-3, while YHC dips to 11-7.

- With the score in favor of the Chargers 11-10 with 18 minutes to go, UAH went on a 4-1 run to clinch the program's first-ever GSC Championship with a 15-11 victory.

Inside the Flow
- Both sides scored twice in the first seven minutes of the contest for a 2-2 tie, until UAH scored four unanswered goals for a 6-2 lead with 14:31 remaining in the half.
- YHC closed the gap in the last 14 minutes with a 4-2 run to cut UAH's advantage to 8-6 at halftime.
- The Mountain Lions started well in the second half with three goals to UAH's one which knotted the game at 9-9 with 19:38 remaining in the second half.
