UAH Blows Past Shorter in Rome on Saturday

ROME, Ga. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's tennis team blanked host Shorter on Saturday, winning 7-0 on the road. The Chargers improve to 7-9 (2-7 Gulf South Conference), while the Hawks slip to 2-11 (0-7 GSC).

-Hall's hot stretch continues as he wins his fifth straight in singles, picking up his team-leading 11th win of the season, and he is now 5-3 against GSC opposition.
-Nutz matches Hall with 11 wins with his third straight victory, improving to 8-3 when playing at the No. 4, and he earns his fourth victory against a GSC opponent.
-Caddies records his most dominant win by surrendering just the two games.
-Both the pairing of Hall and Rohrbach and the duo of Christen and Nutz move above .500 in GSC play with both going to 4-3 on the season in doubles.
-Nutz and Christen are a team-best 9-3 overall.
