PITTSBURGH, Pa. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville hockey team opened up the 2020-21 campaign with a 5-2 loss at Robert Morris on Saturday night. UAH falls to 0-1, while RMU moves to 1-0.

UAH registered two goals in the contest including captain
Bauer Neudecker and fellow junior
Tyr Thompson.

On the defensive side,
David Fessenden played the majority of time in goal with 18 saves and zero goals allowed and was relieved by
George McBey who accumulated 20 saves in his times as goalie.Â

The Chargers went ahead early in the contest at 2:25 of the first with a goal by Neudecker, however Robert Morris would score four unanswered goals to bring the score to 4-1.

The Chargers added another goal by
Tyr Thompson at 16:23 of the third, before Robert Morris brought the game to its final score of 5-2.
