UAH Cruises Past Lewis 17-7 in Home-Opener

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team opened up its 2020 home schedule with a 17-7 drubbing of Lewis on Friday night at Charger Park in nonconference action. UAH improves to 2-2, while LU dips to 0-1.

- The Chargers dominated the first half on the way to an 8-3 lead, as UAH went on to win 17-7 on Friday evening at Charger Park.

- Karissa Glover had a career night with a team-high eight points on eight goals while also grabbing one ground ball.
- Hailey Gallant rated second on the roster with seven points on two goals and a team-high seven assists in addition to posting two ground balls and two draw controls.
- Katie Gerber was third on the squad with six points from two goals and four assists, while tying for the team lead with four draw controls.
- Gerber also had a team-high two caused turnovers and ranked tied for second on the night with five ground balls.
