CLEVELAND, Miss. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's tennis team picked up its second consecutive win on Sunday, defeating host Delta State 6-1. The Chargers improve to 3-4 (2-1 Gulf South Conference), while the Lady Statesmen slip to 1-6 (0-2 GSC).

Noteworthy
-Kirchtag wins her fifth straight to move to 5-2 on the year, and Thomas – who clinched the match for the Chargers for a second consecutive outing – matches Kirchtag with the team-best 5-2 record in singles play.
-Lopez is now 3-0 on the season in singles action.
-Mehlich picks up her third win of the season in singles as does Porter Lucas.
-Mehlich and Thomas are an impressive 6-1 on the year in doubles as winners of six straight.
