SEWANEE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 23-2 win at Sewanee on Tuesday evening in nonconference action. UAH improves to 4-2, while Sewanee dips to 1-2.
 
Turning Point
-The Chargers outscored the Tigers 14-1 in the opening half, as UAH did not let the lead slip away in the second half for the 23-2 win on Tuesday.
 
Inside the Box Score
-Hailey Gallant led the Chargers offense overall with 10 points on six goals and a team-high four assists. Gallant additionally had a team-leading four ground balls.
-Gallant also tied with Darby Smith with a team-best two caused turnovers, as UAH totaled 10 caused turnovers as a team.
-Cara Brown scored a roster-best eight goals to rank second on the roster overall.
-Katie Gerber rated third on the squad with five points from two goals and three assists. Gerber added three ground balls as well to the effort.
-Ryleigh Casserly and Karissa Glover scored two goals apiece, while Isadora Springer and Katie Williams each notched one goal and one assist.
-Tori Ryan played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers, picking up four saves and allowing two goals. She improved to 3-1 with the win.
