HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's soccer team fell to visiting Spring Hill by a final score of 5-1 on Sunday afternoon at Charger Park in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 0-5-1 (0-2-0 GSC), while SHC improves to 2-2-1 (1-0-1 GSC).

Spring Hill scored two goals in the initial 20 minutes of the match in the 16th minute by Mikel Penin Alberdi and in the 19th minute by Johannes Hanken Tjostheim.

UAH cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 21st minute when
Aaron Chavez scored on a free kick from just outside the box for his second marker of the season.

After carrying the 2-1 lead into the half, Spring Hill scored three more times in the second half in the 54th minute by Hugo Frivold, the 68th by Albert Vila Truco and in the 84th by Penin Alberdi to bring the game to its 5-1 final score.

The Chargers generated four shots on goal against the Badgers, led by
Henry Mpagi Jr. with two shots saved.

Robert Bailey played the full time in goal for the Chargers, picking up one save in the contest.

UAH is back in action next Friday at West Alabama at 6 p.m. to continue GSC play.
