HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team dropped its 2023 season-opener on Friday afternoon by a final score of 13-9 to No. 15 Lynn at Charger Park in nonconference action. UAH slips to 0-1, while LU improves to 1-0.

Isadora Springer led the Chargers offense as she scored three goals on the afternoon in addition to picking up three ground balls.
Chloe Wood netted two goals to rate second on the UAH roster.

Katie Williams, Katie Gerber, Anastasia Lajoie, and Sarah Cole each scored one goal apiece to round out the Chargers offense.

The UAH defense generated 11 caused turnovers against Lynn.

Shaina Doser played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers, notching five saves in the loss. Her season record slides to 0-1.

The Chargers are back in action on Sunday to take on No. 7 Tampa at 9 a.m. at Charger Park.
