ALBERTVILLE, Ala. | The No. 23 University of Alabama in Huntsville softball team fell to Indianapolis by a final score of 11-8 on day two of the Charger Chillout on Saturday at Sand Mountain Park. UAH slides to 5-2, while UINDY improves to 3-1.

The Chargers offense was led by
Maddie Cartron on Saturday with a team-high four RBI in a 2-for-4 performance that included a two-RBI double to center in the bottom of the first.

Lawren Hayes and
Kinley Adams helped set the table for the Chargers at the top of the lineup, as both went 1-for-1 with two runs and three walks.

Megan Shurtz started in the circle, turning in 5.0 innings with seven earned runs allowed and two strikeouts. She took the loss to drop to 1-1 on the season.
