HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 20-6 victory over Tusculum on Saturday afternoon in nonconference action at Charger Park. UAH improves to 2-2, while TU slides to 1-2.

Katie Williams guided the Chargers offense in the rout with a team-high five points on four goals and one assists, as she was one of nine UAH players to record at least one goal on Saturday.

Stephanie Sheehan rated second on the squad with four points from two goals and two assists, while
Katie Gerber (2g-1a),
Isadora Springer (3g-0a) and
Megan Robertson (3g-0a) each had three points.

Sarah Cole generated 10 of the Chargers 17 draw controls on the afternoon, with
Chloe Wood finishing second with five controls. Wood had a strong all-around performance with one goal, one assist, three ground balls to go along with her five draw controls.

Tori Ryan and
Shaina Doser split time in goal for UAH on Saturday, as Doser allowed only one goal in her 30 minutes while Ryan registered a team-high six saves.

UAH additionally held the edge over Tusculum in shots on goal (28-14), ground balls (25-18), and draw controls (17-13).

The Chargers hit the road next weekend for two matchups in the Carolinas, including Limestone on Friday and Catawba on Sunday.
