HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse battled hard with the No. 11 Flagler Saints on Senior Day at Charger Park before ultimately falling to FC by a 15-12 score. The Chargers slip to 8-8 (4-1 GSC) while Flagler improves to 13-1 (4-0 GSC).

Senior
Katie Gerber had a very strong performance leading the Chargers with four goals and two assists for six total points and she also led Huntsville's Team in the ground ball column with four pickups on the afternoon.

Isadora Springer, who recently eclipsed 100 career goals, registered three goals against the Saints to push her season total to 42 goals which is tops for the Blue & White.

Chloe Wood and
Katie Williams each scored a pair while
Bryanna Hamblin tallied one goal to round out the scorers for the home side.

Defensively,
Riley Kirby caused a team-high three turnovers and Hamblin forced a pair of takeaways.
Cameron Crews was just behind Gerber with three ground balls recorded in the contest.

Shaina Doser played the entire 60 minutes in net for UAH recording six saves in the setback.

The Chargers will close the regular season next Saturday with a trip to conference foe Lee. That game is set for a 1 p.m. CT start.
