Men's Soccer Falls to Florida Southern Friday

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's soccer team fell to Florida Southern by a final score of 3-0 on Friday night at Charger Park. UAH slides to 2-1-0, while FSC rises to 2-1-0.
 
Florida Southern took a 2-0 lead into the half after goals by Mathias Kjolner in the third minute followed by a late marker by Felix Aakerberg in the 44th minute. The Mocs added in one more tally in the 77th from Victor Beker to bring the game to its 3-0 final score.
 
The Chargers registered two shots on goal against the Mocs by Kieran Rowe and Raga Vega, while Jose Bannwart, Harvey Hewson and goalkeeper Ethan Haworth were the lone UAH players to play the full 90 minutes on Friday.
 
Haworth additionally notched one save in the contest.
 
UAH is back in action on Sunday with a 3:30 p.m. nonconference tilt against Eckerd. A neutral matchup between West Alabama and Florida Southern will additionally be hosted at Charger Park on Sunday at 1 p.m.
