HUNTSVILLE | The UAH soccer team wrapped up the 2024 campaign with a 2-1 loss at Charger Park on Sunday afternoon to No. 11 West Florida in Gulf South Conference play. UAH slides to 3-8-3 (2-7-1 GSC), while UWF rises to 8-1-4 (6-0-4 GSC).

West Florida went ahead early on a goal in the 12th minute and would take a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Argonauts added to their advantage in the 68th minute, before the Chargers got on the scoreboard in the 90th minute on a penalty kick goal by
Oli Orzechowski to bring the game to its 2-1 final score.

Orzechowski's goal was his team-leading 10th marker of the season, as the sophomore finishes the season with a roster-best 22 points with an additional two assists in 2024.

UAH put up three shots on goal in the contest, with Orzechowski leading the way with three shots on target.

Sonny Wright played the full time in goal for the Chargers, notching two saves against the Argos. He was aided by a total of seven individual 90-minute performances by UAH.
