Women's Basketball Hosts LaGrange Monday for Final Nonconference Matchup of Regular Season

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team hosts LaGrange at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall on Monday at 6 p.m. for the final nonconference opponent of the 2024-25 regular season.

UAH enters the last matchup of the 2024 calendar year with an overall record of 9-2 that includes a mark of 5-1 in Gulf South Conference play. The Chargers most recent action was a dominant 77-37 victory at home over Delta State on Dec. 21 prior to the holiday break.
 
Head coach Allen Sharpe's squad enters the week averaging 74.9 points per game this season to rank second overall in the GSC so far this season. Lili Wilken leads the way for the Chargers at 14.8 points per game, and she is joined by Millie Brown (10.9 PPG) and Alexis Woods (10.5 PPG) who also average 10 points or more a game.
 
UAH has also maintained its conference-best 43.0 rebounds per game, with Wilken additionally leading the way for the Chargers with 6.3 boards per contest.
 
LaGrange comes into the nonconference tilt at an overall record of 6-3, following a 78-64 loss at Georgia College on Dec. 18. The Panthers average 78.9 points per game, led by Zhyia Johnson with 17.0 points per contest.
 
After Monday's matchup, UAH jumps back into GSC play on the road Thursday at Union in Jackson, Tennessee.
