FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | The UAH men's basketball team's 2023-24 campaign came to a close in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Division II South Region Men's Basketball Championships with a 104-78 loss to Embry-Riddle. UAH ends its season at 21-11, while ERAU improves to 22-9.

This was UAH's sixth consecutive NCAA tournament berth and the fifth under head coach
John Shulman. Overall, this was program's 16th time competing in the NCAA postseason.

The Chargers offense featured three players scoring in double-figures, led by Athens, Alabama, native
Tommy Murr at 17 points. Murr also added three assists while going 4-for-8 from the field, 3-of-5 on three-pointers and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Luke Burnett (11 points) and
Isaac Chatman (10 points) joined Murr in double-figures in the NCAA tournament quarterfinal matchup.

Chatman additionally pulled down a team-high five rebounds, while
Nylan Thomas led the roster with four assists in 14 minutes of work.

Embry-Riddle – who was led by Malcolm Whitow's 35 points – moves on to play No. 1 seed Nova Southeastern in the regional semifinals Sunday.
