Women's Lacrosse Falls in GSC Championship Match to Conclude 2024 Season

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team saw its 2024 season come to a close in the Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship title game, falling to No. 1 seed Flagler 21-8. UAH finishes the season at 12-7 while the Saints move to 17-2.

Bryanna Hamblin was named the GSC Champion Scholar-Athlete which is awarded at each GSC Championship in each sport to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA among teams participating.
 
Shannon Finch and Ava Fudjinski led the UAH offense with two goals each and Finch added an assist for a team-high three points in the GSC final.
 
Four more Chargers scored goals in the contest as Noelle Coleman, Maya Bronson, Sarah Cole, and Kourtney Bauroth all found the back of the net.
 
On the defensive side, Sydney Schiavone hauled in four ground balls while Tori Ryan registered a career-high 13 saves in 60 minutes of action for the Blue & White. 

Three Chargers earned spots on the 2024 GSC Women's Lacrosse All-Tournament Team with Ryan, Finch, and Talitha Goodman all earning accolades.
