HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team is playing host at the UAH Invitational presented by the Huntsville Sports Commission this weekend with their first match against Tusculum at 12:15 pm in Spragins Hall on Friday.

The Chargers will then take on Harding at 7 pm on Friday evening with Saturday matches at 10 am and 4:45 pm against No. 12 Ferris State and Emmanuel. UAH enters the tournament on a 14 match home win streak and will put it on the line against  tough competition.

The Chargers make their way back to the court after a perfect 3-0 weekend last week at the Ray Thrasher Classic hosted by Trevecca Nazarene. UAH defeated Anderson 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-23), Southwestern Oklahoma State 3-2 (18-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11), and Davenport 3-1 (25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23).

Kaila Sisk earned all-tournament team honors after posting 11 blocks in three matches. 

UAH is 2-6 all-time against Tusculum, with their last matchup being a 3-1 win in October 1996. The Chargers are 2-17 all-time against Harding with the last match going to Harding 3-1 in 2022. The Blue & White have never played against Ferris State and are 2-0 against Emmanuel all-time.
