12/29/2025 11:29:00 AM

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | UAH women's basketball closes out its nonconference schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 30, when the Chargers host LaGrange at 2 p.m. inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall.

Tuesday's matchup serves as the final nonconference game of the season for UAH before the Chargers resume Gulf South Conference play in the new year.

UAH enters the contest riding a nine-game winning streak, having surged to a 10–3 record after opening the season 1–3. The Chargers have been one of the hottest teams in the conference over the past month, building momentum behind balanced scoring and strong defensive play.

Freshman Ava McSwain continues to make her mark early in her collegiate career after earning her second GSC Freshman of the Week award. McSwain posted back-to-back standout performances on the road last week, scoring 18 points at Mississippi College before setting a new season high with 20 points at Delta State.

UAH is led offensively by Lili Wilken, who enters Tuesday's game atop the GSC scoring leaderboard at 21.5 points per game. From the perimeter, Millie Brown has been one of the conference's most efficient shooters, leading the GSC in three-point field-goal percentage (43.8%) and three-pointers made (32).

Tuesday's contest marks just the second meeting all-time between UAH and LaGrange. The two teams first met last season at Spragins Hall, where the Chargers earned a 91–54 victory.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. General admission to all UAH women's basketball regular season home games is free this season courtesy of Bentley Buick GMC.
