HUNTSVILLE | The No. 25 UAH women's lacrosse team dropped Tuesday's matchup to No. 5 Maryville by a final score of 13-10 at the Loretta B. Spencer Sports Complex at John Hunt Park. UAH slides to 1-5, while MU improves to 2-1.

After Maryville went ahead late in the second quarter to lead 7-6 at halftime, the Saints went on to outscore the Chargers 6-4 in the third and fourth quarters to win it 13-10 on Tuesday.

Sarah Cole led the Chargers offense with four goals, as she also added a team-high two ground balls, four draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Ella Rutherford also had a strong offensive performance with a roster-leading three assists. Rutherford additiomnally added two ground balls and one draw control on the day.

Kourtney Bauroth,
Maya Bronson,
Noelle Coleman,
Reagan Flanagan,
Ava Fudjinski and
Lauren Pfleger each added one goal apiece UAH's offensive effort. Both Coleman and Flanagan posted one assist as well for two-point performances.

Isabelle Sawicki played the full time in goal for the Chargers, notching 10 saves with 13 goals allowed. She has totaled 10 or more saves in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.

This was UAH's fourth consecutive game against a national-ranked team.
