HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's lacrosse team fell to Lander in the 2025 Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Championships semifinals by a final score of 12-8 on Friday evening at the Loretta Spencer Complex at John Hunt Park. UAH concludes its season with a 7-11 overall record, while LU improves to 13-3.

After going into halftime down three goals, UAH slimmed the deficit to 9-8 heading to the fourth quarter before Lander extended its lead with three goals to win it 12-8 on Friday.

Freshman
Ella Rutherford guided the Chargers offense with four points on three goals and one assist, as she also contributed two ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control.

Sarah Cole had a strong all-around performance with a team-high six ground balls and two draw controls in addition to two goals and one assist.

Kourtney Bauroth,
Reagan Flanagan, and
Megan Robertson each scored one goal for UAH to round out the Chargers offense on Friday.

Talitha Goodman led UAH's defensive effort, posting a team-high four caused turnovers to go along with three ground balls.

Farrah Westfall played the majority of time in goal against Lander, as she was in the cage for 45 minutes with eight goals allowed and six saves.

This was the 10th season of UAH women's lacrosse.
