HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's lacrosse team hosted its first Gulf South Conference game of the season on Saturday at Charger Park, falling to No. 12 Flagler by a final score of 16-13. UAH slides to 6-9 (1-1 GSC), while FC improves to 9-5 (2-0 GSC).

Corinne Baker led the Chargers offense in the setback with a team-high five points on four goals and one assist, while also contributing four ground balls and four draw controls in a strong all-around performance.

Sarah Cole also had a successful overall day in the matchup, posting four points on three goals and one assist in addition to three ground balls, three draw controls and one caused turnover.

Both
Ella Rutherford and
Maya Bronson had three points against the Saint, with each recording two goals and one assist. Bronson additionally tied with Baker for the team lead in draw controls with four of her own.

Talitha Goodman and
Sydney Schiavone helped guide the Blue & White's defense with two caused turnovers apiece.

Isabelle Sawicki played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers, turning in 14 goals allowed and five saves in 45 minutes in the cage.
