BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2025 men's soccer preseason release on Tuesday, with senior forward Oli Orzechowski earning a spot on the Preseason All-GSC Team.

The Oxford, England native earns the honor after establishing himself as one of the Chargers' top attacking threats, recording 22 points on a team-high 10 goals and two assists. He ranked fourth in the GSC in goals scored, while also leading UAH with 21 shots on goal.

The GSC additionally unveiled its 2025 Newcomer Watchlist on Tuesday, which features forward Alejandro Tocino Vidal (Marbella, Spain), forward Philip Seifert (Chemnitz, Germany), and midfielder Brennan Leblanc (Mandeville, La.).

West Florida finished in the top spot on the coaches' preseason poll with eight first-place votes, followed by Auburn Montgomery in second with and Christian Brothers in third both with two first-place selections. Mississippi College, Lee, and West Alabama landed in the fourth through sixth slots, prior to Delta State in seventh, Montevallo and Trevecca Nazarene tied for eighth, and UAH in tenth.

UAH is coming off a 2023 campaign that saw the squad go 8-8-3 overall and a 3-7-1 in GSC matches.

The Chargers kick off the 2025 season at home on Thursday, Sept. 4 against visiting Illinois Springfield at 4 p.m.
