BIRMINGHAM – UAH forward Oli Orzechowski has been named the Gulf South Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season after an offensive performance that saw him score twice and add an assist across a pair of conference matches.

Orzechowski delivered a two-goal performance in the Chargers' 3-3 draw at Montevallo on Oct. 7, scoring two of UAH's three goals in the match. He followed that performance with an assist in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Christian Brothers on Oct. 11.

Orzechowski earns his second Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honor of the season while continuing to be one of the conference's most productive offensive player. He leads the GSC in shots (44), ranks second in shots on goal (25) and sits third in both goals (eight) and points (19).

His offensive production ranks among the nation's best, as he ranks sixth nationally in shots on goal per game, 12th in shots per game, 25th in points per game and 26th in goals per game.

Orzechowski and the Chargers return to action Wednesday, Oct. 14, traveling to Cleveland, Tenn., to take on Lee at 6:30 p.m.
