ST. LOUIS | The No. 25 UAH women's lacrosse team went on the road to take on No. 6 Maryville on Friday afternoon and fell 21-9 in St. Louis.
The Chargers are now 1-2 on the year, while Maryville improved to 1-0.
UAH and Maryville were tied at 2-2 after the first period of the game, but the Saints would go on a tear in the second quarter with an 11-to-1 advantage.
The Blue and White were led offensively by
Sarah Cole in points with five as she tallied four assists and one goal.
Olivia Rewers led UAH in goals with a pair, while seven other Chargers notched a goal apiece.
Maya Bronson and Rewers each hauled in three ground balls apiece to lead UAH in the category, while
Ella Rutherford led the way in caused turnovers.
The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday in Harrogate, Tennessee against Lincoln Memorial at 3 p.m.
