DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | The No. 25 UAH women's lacrosse team traveled to face No. 9 Embry-Riddle on Saturday and dropped the road contest 11-7.
UAH is now 1-1 on the year, while Embry-Riddle is now 1-0 to start their season.
Embry-Riddle took a 8-3 lead into the halftime break and the Chargers held a 4-to-3 advantage in the second half, but could not overcome the lead.
Olivia Rewers had three points for the Chargers with three goals scored, while
Sarah Cole notched three points on two goals and an assist.
Brenna Bohan led the Chargers in ground balls as she hauled in three and caused one turnover.
Talitha Goodman highlighted the UAH defense with a pair of caused turnovers.
Next up for the Blue & White is a matchup with Maryville on Friday, February 13th in St. Louis, Missouri.
