YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | The No. 23 UAH women's lacrosse team went on the road to face off in a neutral site game against No. 16 Rollins on the campus of Young Harris on Friday evening and dropped the neutral contest 15-6.
The Chargers dropped to 3-5 with the loss, while the Tars are now 6-1 to start the season.
The UAH offense was led on Friday evening by
Olivia Rewers and
Maya Bronson who each had three points apiece. Bronson and Rewers matched one another as they both tallied two goals with an assist.
Talitha Goodman led the Chargers on the defensive end as she hauled in three ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers on the Tars. Bronson also added three ground balls in the game.
Next up for UAH is a matchup with Lynn in Boca Raton, Florida, on March 11th at 4 p.m. The Chargers will then turn around and play Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, March 14th.
