HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Women's Basketball will face Alabama in a Ballin in Boutwell exhibition game on Thursday, Oct. 15, at historic Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham.

Tipoff is scheduled for noon CT.

The exhibition will mark the seventh meeting between the two programs and their first matchup since 1986.

"UAH Women's Basketball is honored to be participating in Ballin in Boutwell," UAH head coach Allen Sharpe said. "This is a tremendous opportunity to continue to gain relevance and attention for our program. We are grateful to the University of Alabama and Knight-Eady for this opportunity." 

UAH enters its third season under head coach Allen Sharpe, who has guided the Chargers to a 57-13 record during his first two years with the program.

The Chargers captured the 2025-26 Gulf South Conference regular-season championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the second consecutive season. UAH finished the campaign with a 32-6 overall record and made the program's first appearance in the NCAA Division II Final Four.
