TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The University of Alabama in Huntsville cross country capped its second meet of the season at the Florida State Pre-Regional Friday morning.

The UAH men's team finished seventh overall in the 8k run with Cole Robinson leading the Chargers with a 26th individual finish at 25:22.0. The UAH women's team finished 10th overall in the 6k run as Lexi Hinote paced the Chargers with a 22:57.9, finishing 49th individually.
Three additional Chargers finished in the Top 50 for the men's team as Dakota Frank came in 32nd at 25:33.9 while Conner Patterson came in 33rd with a 25:35.5. Winston McGhee finished 50th with a 25:56.2. Aaron Ashley finished 54th at 25:59.2, Jackson Griggs finished 56th at 26:02.4, and Elijah Wiggins finished 63rd with a 26:12.4 to round out the Chargers' top seven finishers.

Rose Betts was the second finisher for the women's team at 60th with a 23:06.0 as Lindsey Barnes and Anna Katherine Hopkins followed at 63rd (23:14.5) and 67th (23:18.7), respectively. Emma McCrea finished at 78th with a 23:34.0 with Sarah Hertz finishing right next to her in 79th at 23:34.3 while Autumn Betts rounded out the top seven runners at 101st with a 23:56.5.

The Chargers will compete again on October 10 in Romeoville, Illinois, at the Lewis Crossover.
