Ricky Davey

Ricky Davey is in his first season as an assistant coach with the UAH men’s soccer program.
 
Davey comes to the Rocket City after spending three seasons as a standout player at Montevallo. While with the Falcons, he helped guide the team to two NCAA tournament appearances while being named an all-Southeast region honoree twice along with garnering all-Peach Belt Conference status. Montevallo won two PBC titles during Davey’s tenure, and he scored in both the quarterfinals and the championship contest in 2013 en route to earning the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award.
 
Prior to joining Montevallo, Davey played one season at NCAA Division I institution Appalachian State, and his playing experience also includes two seasons with Rocket City United for the NPSL. Prior to coming to America, he played for Yeovil Town in England’s League One and with OIS in Sweden.
 
Davey, who graduated from Montevallo with a degree in nutrition, holds a NSCAA National Diploma and also owns level 1 and 2 accreditation for goalkeeping.
