Brian Garber is in his first season as the assistant coach for UAH tennis. He joined the Chargers as a volunteer assistant in the spring of 2013.
Garber was with the squad during its run to the semifinals of the Gulf South Conference tournament, and he was also instrumental in the team reaching the NCAA tournament where the Chargers won the program's first-ever match in the national event.

Garber was a star at Boston College where he was a four-year starter, and he served as a team captain during his senior campaign. During his junior season, he helped the team achieve a national ranking of No. 55 – which marked the highest ranking in BC program history.

After his playing days, Garber served as a volunteer assistant at BC where he coached a two-time ITA Fall All-American and Northeast Player of the Year.
