UAH Athletics

Alexa Douthitt joined UAH in the Summer of 2026 as the Assistant Director of Compliance and Student-Athlete Development. Prior to joining the department full-time, Douthitt spent two years as an intern within the UAH Athletics Department, gaining valuable experience in athletic administration and student-athlete services.

A native of Madison, Alabama, Douthitt was a member of the UAH softball team from 2022 to 2026. During her time as a student-athlete, she served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), including a term as President, where she worked to represent the student-athlete voice and enhance the student-athlete experience.

She graduated from UAH in 2026 and returned to the athletics department in a full-time role, continuing her commitment to supporting UAH student-athletes both on and off the field.
