Dr. Jeremy Elliott is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at UAH. He also serves as the program coordinator for the Physical Education and Coaching programs. He became the UAH Faculty Athletics Representative prior to the 2021-22 academic year.

Prior to his career in academia, he spent time as both an athletic director and coach at the high school level in Northeast Georgia. While his teaching focuses on developing the next generation of Physical Education professionals, his primary research interests involve both coach adaptability and leadership.

He has completed training as a level 1 coach developer through the International Council for Coaching Excellence and works as an advocate to bring quality coach development to the main stream as a contributing member of the United States Center for Coaching Excellence.
